The Hunt Agri’s maize testing facility offer the opportunity to breeders, agents and other organisations to extensively evaluate and compare hybrid performance across a range of UK conditions.
The plot trial system can be tailored to meet the objectives of a range of studies:
A number of well known international plant and maize breeders use the facility to monitor the progress of their UK breeding programmes and select material for entry to National List trials.
Breeders and agents use the facility to evaluate performance, gather more extensive product data to compare and promote new and established hybrids.
Hunt Agri are currently engaged in operating two sites undertaking official national trials in the national list and descriptive list matrix for BSPB.
